Overview

 

The VDOT Land Development Summit provides an opportunity for VDOT Land Development staff from across the state to convene and discuss best practices and showcase examples of their work.  Sessions will focus on new initiatives, industry best practices, successful implementation of land development and transportation, and improving coordination with local government stakeholders.

 

Sample topics include:

 

The State of Land Development at VDOT, Corridor Preservation, Work Zone Issues, Alternative Neighborhood Design, Bicycle and Pedestrian Considerations, ADA Regulations, Communicating VDOT Policy to Localities, Access Management, Land Use Permits, Pipeline Projects.
