Join the Alexandria Waterfront Commission and the Virginia Chapter of the American Planning Association for a tour of Alexandria’s waterfront and an update on the implementation of Alexandria’s 2012 Waterfront Plan. This plan is a 20 to 30-year vision for Alexandria’s Old Town waterfront, incorporating flood mitigation, new and improved public open space, and redevelopment (for more information on the plan and implementation, please see The tour will begin at Oronoco Bay Park and end at Windmill Hill Park.
