Overview Professional Development with APA Virginia
APA Virginia provides a variety of unique educational and networking opportunities for members through our webinars, symposiums, section activities, and AICP exam preparation resources. Our annual Virginia Chapter Conference offers multiple opportunities for planners to stay current in the planning field and to network with other leaders in the planning profession. APA Virginia also nominates planners to become members of the AICP College of Fellows.
Leadership Professional Development Officer
The Chapter Professional Development Officer (PDO) coordinates, promotes, and delivers professional development and continuing education for the Chapter’s AICP members and for those Chapter members interested in becoming AICP members. The Chapter PDO provides assistance with information regarding AICP Exam preparation.
